How to Connect Your Sleeper Leagues to Roster Locker

Sleeper is the easiest platform to link to Roster Locker: one username covers every Sleeper sport you play, and you never type a password. Here's the whole flow, start to finish.

On this platform: see what Roster Locker does for your Sleeper leagues.

What you'll need

  • Your Sleeper username — the handle you picked when you joined Sleeper,

not your email or phone number. You can see it in the Sleeper app under your profile.

  • That's it. No password, no login link, no app permissions to grant.

Why we don't ask for your password

Sleeper publishes a read-only public API: given a username, it returns the leagues and rosters that account is in — the same information anyone in your league can already see. Roster Locker reads that and nothing else. We can't post, trade, set lineups, or touch your Sleeper account in any way, because we never have the credentials to do it. Not storing platform passwords is a hard rule across every platform we support.

Step by step

  1. Pick your sports. When you create your Roster Locker account, the first

step asks which sports you play. Sleeper covers NFL, NBA, and MLB — pick any or all of them.

  1. Find the Sleeper step. The connect flow queues one step per platform.

On the Sleeper step you'll see "Enter your Sleeper username — Read-only · No password · Instant."

  1. Type your username and hit "Find My Leagues." One username covers every

Sleeper sport you picked — you won't repeat this per sport.

  1. Review your leagues. Everything the account is in for your picked

sports imports at once — dynasty, redraft, and best ball — grouped by sport on the league step.

  1. Choose your active league. Pick the league you want the AI focused on

first. You can switch anytime from the league chip at the top of the dashboard, and the rest of your leagues stay synced in the background.

From there the AI already knows your actual roster, league settings, and recent transactions — so trade grades, start/sit calls, and waiver targets are grounded in your real team, not generic rankings.

Troubleshooting

  • "Couldn't find that username." Double-check you're entering the Sleeper

username, not the display name, email, or phone number you log in with.

  • A league is missing. Roster Locker only imports leagues for the sports

you selected — if your NBA league didn't appear, make sure NBA was one of your picked sports.

  • Your latest moves aren't showing. Leagues re-sync on a schedule, and you

can pull the newest rosters immediately with the refresh icon on the Team tab.

  • New season, new league? Sleeper creates a fresh league ID each season

for dynasty and keeper leagues. Roster Locker follows that chain automatically and carries your team over — no reconnecting required.

Play on more than one platform?

Same idea, different key: ESPN and MyFantasyLeague connect by league URL, Fleaflicker by account email, Fantrax by its Secret ID, and Fantasy Premier League by team ID. Guides for each are on the way — and inside the app, every connect step has a "Need help finding this?" link that walks you through it.

One AI for every fantasy league you own.

Roster Locker covers 6 sports and 7 platforms — trade grades, start/sit calls, waiver targets and live draft help, grounded in your actual rosters and scoring settings. Founder pricing locked for life.
