MyFantasyLeague is a dynasty institution — deep rosters, taxi squads, and scoring rules nobody else supports. It connects to Roster Locker with one thing: your league homepage URL. There's no login and no password; MFL publishes league data through a public export API, and the URL is the key that points to it. Here's the whole flow.

What you'll need
- Your MyFantasyLeague league URL — the homepage of the league you want to
link, for example www45.myfantasyleague.com/2026/home/12345. If you only have the league ID (12345 in that example), that works too.
- That's it. No password, no app permission to grant.

Where to find your league URL
Open your league on MyFantasyLeague the way you normally do and copy the address from your browser's bar. The part that matters is the year and the league ID:
www45.myfantasyleague.com/2026/home/12345The number after /home/ — 12345 here — is your league ID, and the 2026 is the season. Roster Locker reads both straight from the URL, so the simplest move is to paste the whole thing.
Why we don't ask for your password
MFL exposes a public, read-only export API: given a league ID and year, it returns the league's franchises, rosters, and settings — the same information your leaguemates can already see. Roster Locker reads that and nothing else. We can't set lineups, make trades, or touch your MFL account, because we never hold your login. Not storing platform passwords is a hard rule across every platform we support.
Step by step
- Pick your sports. When you create your Roster Locker account, the first
step asks which sports you play. Choose NFL — that's the sport MFL serves.
- Find the MyFantasyLeague step. The connect flow queues one step per
platform. The MFL step is titled "Paste your MyFantasyLeague URL" and reminds you it uses the public read-only API.
- Paste your URL and hit "Import My League." Drop in your league homepage
URL (or just the league ID). Roster Locker looks up the league and pulls in its name, franchises, and rosters.
- Tell us which team is yours. MFL has no login step, so it can't know which
franchise belongs to you. Roster Locker shows every franchise in the league and you tap yours — the "which team is yours?" picker. That one tap is all the identification we need.
From there the AI is working from your real franchise — your actual dynasty roster, taxi squad, and league settings — so trade grades, start/sit calls, and rebuild-vs-contend advice are grounded in your team, not generic rankings.
Troubleshooting
- "Couldn't read that league." Make sure you copied the full homepage URL,
including the year and the number after /home/. If you pasted a URL from a sub-page (a roster or a matchup), trim it back to the /home/<id> form or just paste the league ID on its own.
- My franchise list looks wrong. The franchise picker shows exactly what MFL
returns for that league. If you don't see your team, double-check you imported the correct league ID — it's easy to grab last season's link.
- New season. MFL keeps the same league ID year to year, but the season is
baked into the URL. When your league rolls into a new season, re-import using that year's homepage URL so Roster Locker points at the current roster.
- Latest moves missing. Leagues re-sync on a schedule; you can pull the
newest rosters immediately with the refresh icon on the Team tab.
