Fantasy Premier League connects to Roster Locker with a single number: your Team ID. There's no login step, no password, and nothing to install — FPL publishes your squad as public data, and your Team ID is the key that points to it. Here's the whole flow.
On this platform: see what Roster Locker does for your FPL team.
What you'll need
- Your FPL Team ID — a number like
1234567. It's not your email or your
team name; it's the numeric ID FPL assigns to your entry.
- That's it. No password and no permissions to grant.
Where to find your Team ID
- Go to fantasy.premierleague.com and log in as you normally would.
- Open your Points page (your gameweek summary).
- Look at the address bar. The URL looks like this:
fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1234567/event/38
The number right after /entry/ — 1234567 in that example — is your Team ID. That's the number you'll paste into Roster Locker.
Why we don't ask for your password
FPL exposes a public, read-only API. Given a Team ID, it returns the manager's name and squad picks — the same information anyone can see on the FPL site. Roster Locker reads that and nothing else. We can't make transfers, set your captain, or play a chip, because we never hold your FPL login. Not storing platform passwords is a hard rule across every platform we support.
Step by step
- Pick your sports. When you create your Roster Locker account, the first
step asks which sports you play. Choose Premier League (soccer).
- Find the FPL step. The connect flow queues one step per platform. The
soccer step is titled "Enter your FPL Team ID" and reminds you where to get it — open your Points page, the number in the address bar is your ID, no login needed.
- Type your Team ID and hit "Find My FPL Team." Enter the number only
(for example 1234567).
- You're connected. Roster Locker confirms your team name and pulls in your
current squad, so the AI is working from your actual 15 players — not a generic template.
From there you can ask about captaincy calls, transfers, differentials, and chip timing with the AI already aware of who you own.
Troubleshooting
- "FPL team not found." Double-check you entered the number that comes
right after /entry/ in the URL — not your team's name and not the gameweek number at the end (/event/38).
- Numbers only. The Team ID field expects digits. If you pasted the whole
URL, trim it down to just the ID.
- Wrong squad showing? FPL is a single-manager format — one Team ID is one
entry. If you manage more than one FPL account, make sure you grabbed the ID from the Points page of the squad you actually want to track.
Play on more than one platform?
That's the whole point of Roster Locker — one membership covers every sport and platform you play. Sleeper connects with just a username; ESPN and MyFantasyLeague connect by league URL; Fleaflicker by account email; and Fantrax by its Secret ID. Guides for each are on the way, and inside the app every connect step has a "Need help finding this?" link that walks you through it.
One AI for every fantasy league you own.
Roster Locker covers 6 sports and 7 platforms — trade grades, start/sit calls, waiver targets and live draft help, grounded in your actual rosters and scoring settings. Founder pricing locked for life.
